Imagination Celebration is an impressive collaboration of arts organizations, cities, schools, libraries and community venues under the leadership of the county-wide arts council—Arts Orange County. This year’s theme is “Imagination Powers the Planet”. The theme encourages the exploration between the forces of nature and the power of the arts to transform the way we think. Imagination can play a vital role in finding creative solutions to protect the environment.

Laguna Art Museum is proud to present Let’s Paint Our Planet Green! on April 26, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Hands-on workshops, for children ages 5-11, will be lead by members of L.O.C.A. (Laguna Outreach for Community Arts). These workshops will use recycled materials for the construction of eco-friendly art projects. In addition, there will be an art treasure hunt, face painting, performances from the Honors Choir of El Morro and Top of the World Elementary Schools and the Gallimaufry Group, refreshments, and treats!

Admission is free thanks to a donation from the Laguna Art Museum Arts Council.
