Museum Acquires Significant William Wendt Painting from 1933

. Laguna Art Museum recently acquired a significant landscape painting by famed early Laguna Beach artist William Wendt. A gift to the museum from Robert and Shirley Foster from the estate of Janet W. Wood, the painting is untitled, oil on canvas, and measures 16 x 20 inches. It is signed by Wendt and dated 1933. Yvonne Boseker Starts Fund for Early California Art


. Laguna Art Museum supporter Yvonne J. Boseker has made a significant investment in Laguna Art Museum by establishing the Edward H. and Yvonne J. Boseker Fund for Early California Art. Museum Store Makeover: Just in Time for the Holidays

With new volunteer store manager Michele Monda and a staff committee in place, the museum store has received a makeover just in time for the holidays. . On November 3, Laguna Art Museum welcomed over 630 people to its fall 2012 exhibitions, which featured playfully dark installations by Macha Suzuki, beautifully rendered watercolors by Timothy J.
