Bradford Salamon began working as a professional illustrator as a young man and by the early 1990s owned and operated his own commercial art galleries in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. As his art developed, he continued to study traditional techniques of the Old Masters and began working almost exclusively in oil on canvas, focusing on portraiture though occasionally painting the California landscape. Currently his subjects range widely, including narrative paintings, allegorical compositions, and still lifes of everyday objects. Most recently, he has produced a series of paintings around the theme of fast food and food porn.
