An artist whose work operates at the intersection of fine art, digital media, and cinema studies, Victoria Fu explores the power and the deceptiveness of the contemporary electronic image. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, the California Institute of Arts, and Stanford University. In recent years she has risen rapidly in the art world, featuring in the 2014 Whitney Biennial and the New York Film Festival, as well as opening The Contemporary in Baltimore with a solo exhibition in 2015. She is a Guggenheim Fellow and Harpo Foundation grantee, and her 2017 exhibition Télévoix in New York was reviewed in Frieze and Artforum. Her most recent solo exhibition, Out of the Pale, is currently on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson.
