What's It All About?

Laguna Art Museum opens its doors for free to visitors of all ages and offers a variety of interactive art, nature, and science activities.

The museum’s annual Art & Nature event provides a festival of art and ideas for the community; inspires artists; finds and develops connections between art and science; raises awareness of environmental issues; and celebrates Laguna Beach as a center for the appreciation of art and nature.

Our Partners

Art Division is dedicated to training and supporting underserved youth who are committed to studying the visual arts. Art Division believes that focused instruction, individualized tutoring and personal support gives students the tools they need to pursue higher education, achieve self-sufficiency and obtain careers in the arts and related fields.

The Center for Art Education and Sustainability (CAES) presents Seashell Still Life Watercolor Observational Paintings. CAES’ work focuses on the research, education and promotion of sustainable practices in art and art education and with aligning artistic lifestyle practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Environmental Nature Center is a 5-acre outdoor classroom that is committed to providing quality education through hands-on experience with nature. A naturalist from the ENC will be on hand to showcase several live animals. Stop by to meet, ask questions about, and even touch these special animals.

Create an artful octopus, test your knowledge of marine creatures, and learn about our coastline and Laguna’s Marine Protected Areas. Laguna Bluebelt Coalition brings together organizations and individuals with a common goal of protecting and restoring marine life, conserving biological diversity and maintaining healthy, sustainable marine habitats.

Make and decorate your own Tidepool Fish Bracelet with Laguna Ocean Foundation! The Foundation strives to optimize Laguna’s vital coastal ecosystems through science, education, and community involvement. by providing tidepool outreach and funding local research to better understand our intertidal ecology and ocean health.

The Newport Bay Conservancy is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization focused exclusively on the conservation and restoration of Upper Newport Bay – one of the most precious natural resources in Southern California – through education, restoration and research.

Using the ocean as a classroom, the Ocean Institute inspires children to learn. The organization educates 100,000 children, teachers, parents, and visitors annually through over 60 marine science and maritime history programs on the Dana Point Harbor.

Play a game of Sea Lion Trivia and learn more about the beautiful marine mammals found right off our coast here in Laguna Beach. The Pacific Marine Mammal Center rescues, rehabilitates and releases marine mammals and inspires ocean stewardship through research, education and collaboration.
