Join us as Laguna Art Museum kicks off a year-long series of centennial celebrations. The Centennial Bash will bring hundreds of art lovers and enthusiasts together for the ultimate late night party. This event will feature site-specific installations by artists Megan Geckler, Elizabeth Turk, and FriendsWithYou. Live music by Matt Costa and DJ Nina Tarr, as well as a craft beer tasting by Laguna Beach Beer Company, specialty cocktails, and delicious bites by Las Brisas will make this a night to remember.

Attendees must be 18+ and valid ID is required upon entry.



Your support of this event will support the museum’s mission of providing a cultural and artistic center, art education for all ages, acclaimed exhibitions, and excellent programming to the community for the next 100 years!



Installation Example_Megan Geckler Megan Geckler creates large-scale, site-specific installations using construction flagging tape, mathematical calculations, and color theory. Her installation at Laguna Art Museum will activate the museum’s lobby and provide a spectacular entrance for the Centennial Bash.
Turk_BW Elizabeth Turk was the subject of a 2014-15 exhibition at Laguna Art Museum and has been announced as the commissioned artist for Art & Nature 2018. For the Centennial Bash, she will create a site-specific and immersive experience within a museum gallery.
FriendsWithYou_artworks_Laguna Art Museum 4 FriendsWithYou is the LA-based collaborative of Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, working collectively since 2002 with the sole purpose of spreading the positive message of Magic, Luck, and Friendship™. Celebrate the centennial with Rainbow King, BuddyChubb, and Mr. TTT!
MC pic 2016 bw Matt Costa is a Huntington Beach native and a gifted singer/songwriter whose melodic, tuneful songs combine his love of ’60s folk, ’70s pop, and ’80s college rock. He supplied the soundtrack to “Orange Sunshine,” the award-winning documentary about the infamous Laguna Beach LSD suppliers, the Brotherhood of Love.
nina_tarr DJ Nina Tarr is a skilled all vinyl DJ who’s solidified herself in the nightlife scene with her impressively diverse musical taste, known for curating some of the hippest events in Los Angeles including the very popular weekly residency “All Girls, All Vinyl.”

They highlight local artists on labels and tap handles, and create lasting memories for visitors with a way to preserve the unique Laguna experience.
