New museum kitchen

Thanks to the generosity of ROHL LLC and Laguna Art Museum board member Lou Rohl, the museum’s kitchen has had a complete upgrade. Lou explains his interest in the project: “In keeping with the high level of quality of the museum’s exhibitions and events I felt it was not only important but imperative that the museum have an exceptional kitchen. I was completely on board with this project from the beginning when the museum’s Director of Operations, Tim Schwab, first approached me about it. By providing the best kitchen facility possible, the museum will be able to increase its earned revenue by attracting a greater number of weddings, corporate events, meetings, and parties.”
.
The kitchen (originally constructed in 1986) has been transformed with a modern and sleek design focusing on space-saving and the needs of caterers. New features include state-of-the-art Viking Brand appliances, roll-out prep carts that tuck away neatly under new granite composite countertops, and a ROHL luxury sink and faucet.
.
“This is just the latest example of Lou Rohl’s amazing commitment to Laguna Art Museum,” observes Deputy Director Ed Fosmire. “As a businessman, he understands the importance of diversified revenue streams and has made this very important gift which will continue to generate income for the museum for many, many years to come.”
.
The museum would also like to thank Ferguson Supply, Capelli Antiques, Beach West Plumbing, and Shields Construction.
