Evening for Educators
Monday, October 16
5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Evening for Educators at Laguna Art Museum is an opportunity for K-12 teachers to preview new exhibitions, learn about the museum’s school programs and curriculum materials, and network with colleagues.

On October 16, visit the newly-opened exhibition California Mexicana: Missions to Murals, 1820-1920. The exhibition is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles, taking place from September 2017 through January 2018 at more than 70 cultural institutions across Southern California.

• Enjoy a reception with wine, beer, and light bites
• Explore new exhibitions through docent-led tours
• Participate in hands-on art-making activities led by museum teaching artists
• Learn how exhibitions align with visual arts for all grade levels and 4th grade social studies curriculum standards
