Do more than just visit the museum—get involved! There are a number of ways you can get involved with Laguna Art Museum whether by becoming a museum member, council member, donor, Advisory Circle Member, intern, or volunteer.

Museum members can visit the museum as many times as they like year-round, plus enjoy other great benefits like a discount in the museum store, free tickets to opening night receptions, and free entry into over 400 other museums via the North American Reciprocal Museums program.

Museum members also have the opportunity to join a museum council which brings together people with similar interests to socialize, study, and support Laguna Art Museum in many different ways. Activities range from educational lectures and artist talks, to travel opportunities with curators. From historical art, to contemporary art, to films, and luncheons—find the council that matches your interests.

Get even more involved with Laguna Art Museum by becoming a donor or Advisory Circle member. Donors and Advisory Circle members receive special museum privileges and benefits, and the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting the museum, a non-profit institution, and continuing the museum’s mission of becoming the premier museum of California art.

Interns and volunteers are a vital support system for the museum. Interns have the opportunity to learn about the inner-workings of a museum and work on exhibitions, marketing, and special events alongside the museum staff. Volunteer opportunities range from engaging and enlightening museum visitors about art, to logging in books on California art in the Carole Reynolds Art Research Library, to helping with special events, and to working with sales in the museum store.
