The Contemporary Collectors Council organizes four to six art trips per year to local cities in the region including Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara,
Palm Springs, and Laguna Beach, among others. Each trip includes a combination of tours of museum exhibitions, artist studio visits, galleries, and visiting private collections, along with delicious lunches.  The council also arranges national trips which in the past have included extended trips to New York City, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Fe, and Seattle.

The Contemporary Collectors Council’s membership is open to all members of the museum and dues are used to purchase contemporary artwork and to support exhibitions for Laguna Art Museum. Over the years, works by Laddie John Dill, Bruce Conner, Robert Arneson, Lita Albuquerque, Tony Oursler, Amy Myers, and Travis Somerville have been donated to the museum by the Contemporary Collectors Council.

CCC membership is $100 per person per year, and trip prices vary.
