The Historical Art Council seeks to expand the appreciation and study of historical California art, especially in the period before 1960.

Join fellow enthusiasts and explore historical California art throughout the region. Trips include access to private collections, special exhibitions, art openings, educational lectures, and other relevant activities.

Proceeds from HAC dues, trips, and other activities support historical exhibitions, conservation, and educational programs at Laguna Art Museum.

A one-year membership to the Historical Art Council includes:
• Access to 5-6 trips with museum curators and other specialists in the field*
• Educational lectures

Membership
Yearly dues are $125 per person. Trip prices vary, and you must be a museum member to join the council. If you join the museum at the Patron or Advisory Circle Silver levels, you are eligible to join one council for free. If you join at the Advisory Circle Gold, Platinum, or Director’s Council levels, you are eligible to join up to two councils for free.
