Meg Cranston

b. 1960

Meg Cranston was born and raised in Baldwin, New York in 1960. In 1982, she earned a B.A. in Anthropology/ Sociology from Kenyon College in Ohio before moving on to study Art at the California Institute of Arts. In 1986, she earned an M.F.A. in Studio Art and began her internationally renowned art career.

Cranston’s work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and Europe since 1988. She currently lives and works in Venice, California. She has been the recipient of many awards and is currently holds the position as Chair of Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design.
