  • Dan McCleary: Prints from Oaxaca

    October 2, 2017 – February 25, 2018
    Since 2000 the Los Angeles-based artist Dan McCleary has made regular visits to the Taller de Grabado in Oaxaca, Mexico, to work with Mexican master printer Fernando Sandoval. The exhibition focuses on the prints McCleary has made at the Taller.

    Laguna Art Museum’s 2018 retrospective of Tony DeLap’s work will include approximately eighty paintings, sculptures, and drawings by Orange County’s foremost living artist.

    This special exhibition will celebrate the centennial anniversary of the founding of the Laguna Beach Art Association with paintings by the leading artists who were founding members of the association and active during that period.

    Following the U.S.-Mexican War, lands that had belonged to New Spain, and later Mexico, were transformed into the 31st state of the U.S. This exhibition, part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, explores how Mexico became California.

  • Phil Dike: At the Edge of the Sea

    June 25 – September 24, 2017
    This retrospective is the first comprehensive museum exhibition in over forty years of works by this prominent member of the California regionalist movement, with more than sixty of his paintings that span from the 1920s through the early 1980s.
