Joyce Treiman


Born in Illinois during the Spring of 1922, Joyce Treiman was known for her draftsmanship and made several trips to Europe throughout her career to study the Old Masters. In 1960, later in life, she and her family made their way to Los Angeles where she continued to work. In 1983, her most productive year was also the year she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She survived the cancer and lived another eight years making art.
