This Mother’s Day weekend, join one of LAM’s professional teaching artists to create a non-figurative portrait inspired by artist Greg Colson’s Pie Chart portrait in our latest exhibit, On The Edge: Los Angeles Art from the Joan and Jack Quinn Family Collection. What are the elements of the pie chart that best illustrate the subject of your portrait? Bring your ideas and create a one-of-a-kind work of art suitable for framing.
