First Thursdays Art Walk celebrates the diverse cultural art scene of Laguna Beach and is free to the public with participation by more than 30 member galleries. First Thursdays Art Walk is held on the first Thursday of every month from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The museum offers free admission from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and docents are available for tours.
On August 2, see Art Colony: The Laguna Beach Art Association, 1918-1935, a special exhibition celebrating the centennial anniversary of the founding of the Laguna Beach Art Association with paintings by the leading artists who were founding members of the association and active during that period.

LAM Goes BOOM: A Pride Celebration
To celebrate Pride Month, join the Laguna Art Museum for a night to pay homage to Laguna’s bygone gay bars like the famed The Boom Boom Room. Fred Karger’s documentary Save the Boom will be screened in the museum’s galleries, and then let the dancing begin with DJ SoulFire!
