While the museum is not open for public gatherings, we are excited to invite you to a virtual Imagination Celebration program! With inspiration from the exhibition Wayne Thiebaud: Clowns, join us for a virtual tour from inside the museum, clown around in art-making workshops, smile and stretch with a yoga adventure, become a circus dance monkey, make art with LAM+LAB at Home projects, and more!

Clown Around

LAM teaching artist Ivy Guild offers a making and playing workshop in which you will become clowns! We will make masks and props with objects found at home, then perform and play on Zoom together.

Mask making materials (could include): paper plates, markers, scissors, cotton balls, tape, glue paper, stickers, tin foil, straws, popsicle sticks

KIDZ BOP invites you to dance along to “Dance Monkey” with Egan and Ayden!
This Cosmic Kids yoga adventure featuring Pedro the Penguin has a special focus on the noticing how we feel excitement and how we calm down afterwards.
Learn five easy tricks that let kids magically multiply money, levitate playing cards, vanish objects, and more! The tricks are simple and quick for kids, and great for grown-ups who would like to teach kids some easy magic tricks.
Enjoy a front-row seat to awe-inspiring moments of the larger-than-life shows of KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities, O, and LUZIA, with never-before seen angles that can only be experienced on your screen.



Each Spring, Arts Orange County presents Imagination Celebration: Orange County’s only county-wide family arts festival! Presented in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education, Imagination Celebration dynamically connects the community, arts organizations, universities, and Orange County students through meaningful arts experiences. Free admission during Imagination Celebration is made possible by a generous donation from the Laguna Art Museum Arts Council.
