How does Post-Impressionism differ from Impressionism? Although closely related in choice of subject matter, many artists felt something was missing in Impressionism and worked to rectify it.

He will discuss the specific points of contention, explain how the style was modified and introduce the leading figures in the new style. He will introduce the Fauves and explain their philosophy and approaches in art that contributed to the development of Modern Art.
