Bre Stuhmuller

Bre is a California native and grew up in the Bay Area. She worked her way down the coast, first getting her Bachelors in both Psychology and Communication from UC Santa Barbara, and then getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. After being introduced to women’s health/pelvic floor PT, she quickly realized how beneficial and necessary this line of work was and decided this was the specialty she wanted to pursue. She is passionate about educating women about their bodies, especially since women are done such a disservice in this area both in the educational and medical systems. After experiencing the journey into motherhood herself, she has a special interest in the pregnancy/postpartum population and believes physical therapy should be the standard of care throughout the peripartum years.

She has both a B.A. and M.A. in Communicative Disorders and is a Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. She is a Positive Discipline Educator as well as an Infant Care and Childcare Specialist. She also is a published author of The Articulation & Phonology Video Assessment Tool.

Cristina is a mom to two boys. Before becoming a mom, she worked as an SLP at schools and private clinics. After having her son, Cristina experienced the struggles of motherhood. Through her journey in counseling, spiritual and self-growth, she realized that her calling was to create a community for mothers who may be going through the same.

About the Organizer

Valerie Lynn is a Holistic Postpartum Doula, who has lived abroad for over 20 years in Southeast Asia, home to the lowest rates of postpartum mood disorders globally at just 3%.  Valerie rebalanced herself naturally from postpartum anxiety after her son was born in 2007, by turning to traditional postnatal practices.

Valerie advocates for a positive fourth trimester, being a unique opportunity for mothers to replenish, revitalize, and restore themselves when the body is at its peak-healing-mode. Valerie creates personalized recovery plans encompassing education, nutrition, meals, body treatments and care that support the natural healing process. She also designs temporary in-home recovery areas where postnatal services take place.

Her personal philosophy is that recovery from pregnancy and childbirth begins, from Day 1, or the birthing day. The Healing Window of Opportunity is a “minimum effort – maximum result” period. She is the author of The Mommy Plan, Restoring Your Post-Pregnancy Body Naturally, Using Women’s Traditional Wisdom and cookbook – Healing Meals: Simple Recipes for New Moms.
