Visit our special exhibition Wayne Thiebuaud: Clowns and participate in circus-themed activities inspired by the art. Participants will enjoy a performance of Bob Baker’s The Circus and an interactive session with the world-renowned troupe followed by hands-on art-making in the museum!
Los Angeles’ own troupe of puppetry pioneers, Bob Baker Marionette Theater, are bringing the big top to Laguna Art Museum! Originally staged in the 1950s and brought back many times since, this fan favorite is a carnival of imagination that will transport you into a world of dazzling acrobatic feats, exotic animal performers and sideshow attractions! Each act comes to life through the storytelling wonderment of puppetry on strings and a playful musical revue!
