Travels in Mexico: Watercolors from the Diane and E. Gene Crain Collection

This exhibition continues a series highlighting various aspects of the magnificent Crain collection of twentieth-century California watercolors. The California School paintings done in Mexico from the 1930s through the 1980s, by artists including Rex Brandt, Phil Dike, Emil J. Kosa, Jr., Phil Paradise, Millard Sheets, and Milford Zornes, are from an art collection formed around personal relationships between collector and artists.
