A prestigious Stockholm museum’s chief art curator finds himself in times of both professional and personal crisis as he attempts to set up a controversial new exhibit.

The film was written and directed by Ruben Östlund and stars Claes Bang, Elisabeth Moss, Dominic West, and Terry Notary. It was entered into the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d’Or, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.
