Inspiration

Hard-Edge

Tony DeLap made a significant contribution to the development of hard-edge painting. Edges in general fascinated him. He loved to play with the concept of an artwork’s edge and created many works consisting of canvases with surprising and unconventional edges. His expertise and interest in magic led him to make objects “float” and otherwise defy explanation.
