Expressing Gratitude

The practice of gratitude can have therapeutic and lasting positive effects in a person’s life. Gratitude is an emotion through which we express appreciation for what we have. Studies show that we can deliberately cultivate gratitude and can increase our well-being and happiness by doing so.

Dan McCleary's "Therapy"

The Los Angeles-based artist Dan McCleary paints figure scenes and still lifes, and on regular visits to Oaxaca, Mexico, practices traditional printmaking with subjects that include portraits and floral still lifes. His prints were the subject of of the 2017 exhibition Dan McCleary: Prints from Oaxaca at Laguna Art Museum.
